Artist's Comments

My favourite from that second batch I uploaded, enlarged and tweaked.

I enlarged it in IrfanView several times, applying Median Filters and raising Contrast while lowering Gamma -- I also sharped it occasionally.

After I was finished with that I pasted it into Paint.NET and edited it extensively, doing my best to maintain the same line thicknesses and angles. My main weapons were the pencil tool and copying, rotating/flipping, and pasting, occasionally using the line tool to measure things and get things to line up.

I am a bit worried, though, about a slight optical illusion that makes the angled lines appear very slightly curved inward.

As for the concept, I basically drew random patterns of "dA" in that batch upload from earlier, preferring angular patterns and attempting to fulfill the various other recommendations in the Epic Logo Challenge's news entry.

You should try to remove the aliasing in the corners.
Other then that... Awesome!!

Angular ftw! :#1:

But now that you mentioned it, I do see the optical illusion...

Thankfully it's only slight, and not so noticable at smaller sizes. Wonder what's causing it. Also wonder how I can fix it. Hmm...

Maybe it's the sharp edges? :?
Or it could be the shape itself... in that case, don't try to change it
